Beth Houston, MLA nominated this twisted Quercus robur, saying:

I saw this lovely twisted Oak Tree whilst on site visit at Glazebrook, on the periphery of Salford and Warrington. I felt quite humble in its presence.

Foliage: Deciduous

Height: Over 12 metres

Leaf: shallow, rounded lobes

Colour: reddish-brown leaves in autumn, green-yellow catkins among young leaves
