MLA creates futures with Landscape Institute

Several MLA students joined the Landscape Institute to promote careers in Landscape Architecture at the recent UCAS Create Your Future event at Manchester Central. The event was aimed at 16-17 year olds to advertise creative courses and subjects available at university, to encourage young people to consider design-based professions.

The volunteers spoke to students and teachers, talking to them about their experiences, directing them towards examples of students' work and sharing information about career routes and resources available. The event was also an opportunity to meet students from other universities who had volunteered at the event.
