The ironworks is illuminated in red, green and blue. These colours are reminiscent of the function of the individual parts of the plant: green stands for gas, blue for water and red for fire and heat.
Jonathan Park is the designer, well-known for temporary light installations and his collaboration with Mark Fisher, set designer. Their installations for bands such as Pink Floyd, the Rolling Stones, U2, George Michael, Tina Turner, Bryan Adams had a strong visual impact and influenced the way rock and pop concerts were presented to the public.
