A Danish Landscape Perspective

Laura Parsons is a graduate from MMU, who studied a Masters in Landscape Architecture in Copenhagen. Subsequently she worked for a number of Danish practices, including SLA. She is now working freelance and with her own practice, collaborating with a wide range of creatives, who she shares a studio with. Invited to lecture to MLA 2 students and to participate in a workshop; the theme of her presentation and her message to students was how to do almost nothing, whilst achieving everything. This translates in to a deep respect for the site and its reconditioning, framed through the acceptance of multiple interpretations of the human nature dynamic as a realistic interpretation of a sustainable future.
